After what seemed to be a short four month wait, I finally had my regualrly scheduled CT scan since they had indicated that the mass in my right lung might be a teratoma or perhaps even TC reoccurance. So, on Sept. 12, 2005, I went in for my CT scan accompanied with the usual consumption of disgusting liquid contrast.
The follow-up doctor's appointment for the CT scan was on Sept. 15 with Dr. Ottomon. He immediately told me that the mass had not changed and it appeared to be as we originally thought a mass caused wither by sometype of bacteria that a lot of individuals are exposed to in the upper Midwest or perhaps scar tissue from a past illness. Either way it was very welcome news.
In other news, all my tumor markers from my blood draws were normal and it seems that my testosterone levels have improved and we have found a desireable level at which I feel good both physically and mentally.
